Road Network Analysis
The “Flow Analyzer” from BLIP Systems enables traffic authorities to acquire detailed knowledge about traffic flows through the road network.
The “Flow Analyzer” is capable of performing Origin & Destination analysis.
The flow analyzer may answer questions like :
To what extent do travelers take the optimal route?
Is there a difference in flow for frequent travelers vs. non frequent travelers?
Arrival analysis where did travelers arrive from? Destination analysis where did travelers go?
Automatic classification of travellers
The flow analyzer is capable of showing flow data for specific groups of travelers, by providing a unique classification of the traveler based on movements between sensors.
Example of profiles:
- Frequent traveler vs. non frequent/tourist
- Analyze travelers starting from a specific point
- Analyze travelers ending at a specific point
- Analyze travelers starting and ending at a specific points Flow data may be shown in tables, graphs, or maps.
The “Flow Analyzer” GUI is web based and easy to use.
