Content Types

In general BlipZones can send out any file type, but:

Mobile phones have different capabilities.
Therefore the phone recognition and phone capability functionality in BlipZones can be used to send files supported by the individual phones.

As the phone recognition database is based on data periodically collected from partners around the world, BlipZones has a second to none up to date phone recognition database.
Known/supported file extension in the device capability are:

Thereby all known audio files, video files, calendar entries, vCards and even Java programs (and Microsoft and Symbian installation files) are known (and also whether the content is supported via Bluetooth).

On top of that each individual phone is also known by device platform and screen resolution.
