The music band Embrace, offers information to fans via mobile phones and drives them to the band's merchandising stand.

Embrace is one of the UK's leading bands, mostly famous for 3 number 1 albums and for doing the official 2006 England World Cup Song. When they recently went on tour, the agency called england went with them.

The BlipZones partner, an agency called england, created a series of high-impact posters telling Embrace fans to turn their Bluetooth on, then using BlipZones (Bluetooth mobile marketing system), they distributed a host of great information, updates and offers to fans in order to drive them to the band's merchandising stand.

The results were something to sing about with an amazing average of 42% of all mobile phone users at gigs with Bluetooth enabled accepting the information. This fantastic result was only achieved due to the combination of hard-working advertising and clever use of the Location Based Technology.

Sales at the Embrace merchandising stand were also at an all time high and england also ensured that Embrace strengthen their fan base by offering wallpapers of the band free-of-charge, which once downloaded would remain as a permanent fixture on the mobile phone.
