A fleet of electric vehicles travels around in London and sends out marketing material via Bluetooth. The solution is implemented by using BlipNode L2i’s with 3G USB modems attached in the vehicles. The BlipNodes are constantly connected to a central server. This online setup enables Seymour Green to change the marketing messages on the fly, and follow the campaign statistics in real time. A central server controls the message flow toward each individual user and keeps a campaign history table for all users. This prevents identical repetitive messages to the same user and it’s even possible to build up a sequence of messages to the same user. More information about the case can be seen on
