What is BlipZones
BlipZones has an endless list of fantastic features. One main feature is that BlipZones works with a central server accessible from any web browser. The server is usually hosted by BLIP Systems.
Network based
Via the web browser the operator can upload content, define campaigns, view live statistics of all campaigns at both overview and very detailed levels. End-users do not receive the same campaign content more than once - even when they are moving in between zones.
Zone control
Zones are organised in a hierarchical structure to enable control of installations ranging from just a small site, to a country or even worldwide installations. The operator can define zones structure and names.
Zone planning
Via the device detection statistics zone planning can be done on the fly. The operator can on both overview and detailed level, see how many Bluetooth devices have been detected in each zone. As automatic load sharing is performed within a zone more BlipNodes can be added in a zone to scale up to even very big events with hundreds of simultaneous downloads in the same zone.

Device recognition
With the device recognition algorithms being updated continually, with data collected amongst all partners in the world, BlipZones can push the optimal content to any phone. Currently we have more than 800 different devices in our database. With the built-in phone capability functionality BlipZones even knows which phones support different file formats (e.g. video, audio, java games, calendar entries... see the Content Types section). This is what makes a truly valuable experience for the end-user.

Even when uploading content to BlipZones, the operator is given an opportunity to auto-scale images to the different mobile phone screen sizes.
