Data collection is achieved through a reader (BlipNode), a discreet 10 x 15 cms box which registers every passenger with Bluetooth activated on a mobile device. Data, based on the unique Bluetooth ID with no personal identification, is sent directly to a back-end server for processing.
New readers, routes and reports can be defined via an easy-to-use configuration wizard. The Route Analyzer is flexible and can be configured to analyze any airport process. Data from a reader can be reused for any number of different routes. Data from multiple readers can be aggregated to create virtual zones, e.g. an entrance zone covering multiple entrances.
