Legal issues regarding sending mobile/electronic marketing messages are different around the world. BLIP Systems always recommends using BlipZones as an opt-in / permission based system. Even with the offering of adding another aspect to the permission process for the user.
Therefore, BlipZones has the option of registering a user in a pre-defined user group, based on a download of a specific message. The range can be adjusted down to, some call it, a touch point - thereby only users wanting to sign up receives a message.
Having a poster telling the user about the service offered, asking the user to accept the sent message to sign up for the service.
Whenever the acceptance of a registration message has occurred, the user is instantly created in the central user database with the user interests specified according to the registration zone settings. Right after sign-up, the user details can be used across the complete BlipZones network.
The user can also login via a web-page to change the profile (including deleting all interests groups signed up for), whereby there is also an opt-out solution built in.
