On a location, where a BlipNode is installed, an end-user usually first sees a call to action signage explaining the mobile proximity marketing service.
The user holds the phone close to the sign, accepts the message, and downloads the file being sent.
BlipZones can push any file type – see “
Content Types” for specific file types for recognized phones.
The messages/files sent are defined via the BlipZones Content Management System and can depend on; content previously downloaded, time, user’s interests and location.
The file downloaded by the user can also be a web-form where the user can enter more details, and select specific interests for future more targeted messages, and also enter name, mobile phone number etc.
When these simple steps have been completed, the operator can view live statistics in the same second as the content is downloaded anywhere on the network.
If the user either downloads or rejects a message this message will per default never be sent to this user again – thereby avoiding spamming.
